Many readers, psychics and/or metaphysical workers refer to something called Soul Mission in their work. What is a Soul Mission? How do we know if we are on the path or in our Soul Mission?
These are questions that I sometimes get from clients. First off, what exactly is a Soul Mission? A soul mission is something that we were sent to this Earth to do in our life time. It is something that is meant to be our life’s calling.
Just like anything else in the world, we all have different definitions of things depending on our point of views and experiences. A person’s life calling is very personal, specific and something that is divinely orchestrated. A soul mission, life purpose is something that fills us with joy. Some people have said if your job feels like fun and you enjoy what you do, it doesn’t feel like work. That is because you are truly on the path you belong on.
How do we go about discovering if we are on our soul mission and who can help us through the process? One way that a person can get help figuring out their soul mission is by getting a reading with a good psychic. Many clients call me asking what their soul mission is. Often it’s more than just a typical reading but a conversation that really gets the client to tap into their intuition, their joys and their inner child. Truth is our soul missions are more obvious to us than we realize. All too often a client or person is so immersed in their daily activities that they don’t even realize it’s staring them right in the face what they should be doing.
I did a reading for a client who was constantly taking care of her family members and friends. She was a nurturer, someone who always put everyone else that she cared about before herself, before her own needs. One day she called me, exhausted, sad and feeling lost. She told me she felt defeated that she felt she would never learn what her soul mission was. The cards were very clear… she technically has been doing her soul mission partially all along. It is her bliss to help others, to nurture and protect. After a long discussion we came to a joint conclusion, her soul mission is to work in a medical field helping people with their pain and ailments. Now here’s where the hard part came in, she now knew what she was meant to do, called upon by the divine to bring light and healing to the world. The hard part is, how? She worked full time as a waitress, in a job she hated but did it to make ends meet. She didn’t have the option to just quit her job and go into a medical type of job. So she began slowly, first with one class at a time becoming a medical assistant, and volunteering occasionally when she could in hospitals. Once this client got into following her soul mission, her life’s purpose, all other parts of her life started to come together.
The main idea of soul mission is you will not be truly happy until you are working towards your soul mission. It doesn’t happen overnight, there are steps that need to be taken over time to get to fully being immersed in soul mission, but beginning and taking one step at a time really helps align your true divine purpose. When you are doing something you love, and you were put here on Earth to do, all levels of abundance starts to activate in your life. My guides once told me, when I do my soul mission, I will not need to worry about how I make money, because the divine will provide. I don’t recommend quitting all sources of income, but if done correctly, gradually transitioning to soul mission, money will never be a problem. When you are on soul mission, you’re happier, which raises your vibration, and thusly brings in much more positive things into your life, people, places, and things all come to you with ease.
Feel like you’ve attempted all the things I’ve mentioned and you still feel like you are struggling to determine your soul mission? Here are a few suggestions of how to unlock this secret with your own intuition.
MEDITATE! Visualize yourself doing something that makes you happiest. If money, time, experience, education, didn’t matter, if you could just wake up tomorrow, walk out your door and do something you absolutely love… what would it be?
It should feel like love!
Start conversations with people who know you best- family members, friends, ask them what they feel are your best qualities, ask them if they remember times or activities that make you the happiest.
Read books, lots and lots of books, look up information that you feel makes you alive, try new activities.
I even recommend talking to a life coach/guide.
However, at the end of the day, no one knows you better than yourself. You know when something makes you happy; you know when something upsets you. Spend more time exploring things that give you bliss; it will lead you to where you belong.
